The "Retreat, Reflect, Renew" series is sponsored by the Ministry of Mothers Sharing and is committed to providing a sacred space for mothers of all ages and stages of life to reflect on topics that renew a mother's spirituality within her Baptismal Call to Holiness and Sacred Call to Motherhood.

  1.  Who is the facilitator?Sr. Katherine Doyle is one of the most well respected and skilled facilitators in the Sacramento Diocese. She is a spiritual director, Director of Religious Education for Holy Spirit in Sacramento, is an author, and worked for the Diocese for several years.
  2. Is there childcare? We are sorry, but we do not have the resources to offer 8 hours of childcare.
  3. Are scholarships available?Yes, call Christine 916-783-6880
  4. Who is putting this on?The Ministry of Mothers Sharing - a national ministry that has been active throughout theSacramento Diocese for over 10 years.
  5. Is this just for moms?No! This retreat is open to all women and all ages.
  6. What is the format?There will be prayer ritual, some concepts to think about, sharing, quiet reflecting in a warm, hospitable, safe environment.
  7. Can I come if I haven't participated in the ministry before?Of course! In fact.. please do! The retreat themes are independent of the journal sessions the ministry offers.
  8. What is this?Retreat.. Reflect… Renew… is a retreat series sponsored by the Ministry of Mothers Sharing. We hope to offer a retreat every fall and spring with different retreat facilitators and held at different parishes throughout the Diocese.
